Qasra - An Events venue

Our current projects include the construction of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Baghdad, the establishment of five new educational schools within the Nineveh Municipality, and an events venue Qasra. These initiatives underscore our commitment to creating vital infrastructure and fostering community development, reflecting our dedication to progress and cultural enrichment in the region.

Some of our past Projects

Our projects have spanned from the establishment of Mar Gorgis and Saint Joseph Church in Iraq, to the meticulous rehabilitation and furnishing of cemeteries and streets in Diyala Governorate. Additionally, we have undertaken significant renovations at the United Nations headquarters in Baghdad's Green Zone, enhancing key facilities such as the theatre hall, DFAC building, implementing solar Energy and various administrative structures that underscore our commitment to excellence in preserving cultural heritage and supporting international diplomacy through sustainable infrastructure solutions.

The project to establish Mar Gorgis Church and its accompanying multi-purpose hall in Baghdad was commissioned by the Ministry of Housing and Construction, under the General Authority for Buildings. Recognized as one of Iraq's distinguished churches, Mar Gorgis Church was honored with the issuance of an official postage stamp bearing its name and image.

Renovation and restoration of the DFAC building for the headquarters of
the United Nations in the Green Zone - Baghdad, the contracting authority
is the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI).

General Services Section (GSS), United Nations

Renovation and restoration of the main buildings and the General Services Section (GSS) of the United Nations headquarters in the Green Zone, Baghdad. The contracting authority is the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI).

The project aims to harness solar energy for heating and move towards a more sustainable facility. This initiative demonstrates a commitment to sustainability and reducing carbon emissions by implementing advanced renewable energy solutions.

Refurbishment of the theatre Building of the United Nations

The project involved comprehensive upgrades to modernize the theatre's infrastructure. This included state-of-the-art audiovisual systems, improved seating arrangements, enhanced acoustics, and upgraded safety features. The goal was to deliver a high-quality, versatile venue that meets the United Nations' standards for hosting cultural events, conferences, and international diplomatic activities.

The project of establishing Saint Joseph Church and a multi-purpose hall belonging to the church in Mosul. The contracting party is the Diwan of Endowments for Christian, Yazidi and Mandaean Sabeans.

Renovation and restoration of the villa building (UNITAD) of the United Nations headquarters in the Green Zone - Baghdad, the contracting authority is the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI).

Rehabilitation and furnishing of the two cemeteries of the Old Eastern Church and the Church of the East with paving two sides Street in the Khan Bani Saad area in Diyala Governorate.

These projects represent just a selection of our extensive portfolio, demonstrating our diverse capabilities in construction, infrastructure, and project management. Highlights of additional projects includethe rehabilitation of hot water networks for the United Nations headquarters in Baghdad, construction and security enhancements for the Italian Embassy, and the establishment of border crossing centers. Additionally, we have overseen major projects such as the completion of the Harawa Dam and a 35 km irrigation system in northern Iraq. We have also completed numerous civil and construction works in Baghdad's Green Zone, and the establishment of the Meru Camp, and many more (Implemented in the name of our previous company - Lamasso Contracting and General Trading Co).

Coptic Orthodox Church - Baghdad

The majestic Coptic Orthodox Church in Baghdad is a stunning architectural marvel, featuring a vast hall with an interior area of 1,400 square meters. Its grand main dome, with a diameter of 22 meters and a height of 20 meters, stands as the largest concrete dome in Iraq and the first in the world constructed without a ring beam. Adding to its splendor is the largest golden cross, with a top view measuring 40 by 30 meters. This impressive structure is not only a symbol of faith but also a testament to innovative engineering and architectural beauty.

Five schools - Nineveh Municipality

Our project in Nineveh entails the construction of five schools, each offering 12, 18, or 24 classrooms. These educational institutions are strategically located in Nineveh, Karmles, Shamsiat, and three in Mosul, ensuring broad access to quality education. This initiative underscores our dedication to fostering academic excellence and community development, empowering the next generation to thrive and lead the region into a brighter future.

Qasra - Events Venue

Our project, Qasra, is a luxury events venue inspired by the timeless grandeur of ancient Assyria. Designed to host unforgettable gatherings, Qasra evokes the elegance and mystique of Assyrian palatial architecture, with towering arches, intricate bas-reliefs, and lush, ornamental interiors that pay homage to one of history's most powerful empires. From lavish weddings to exclusive galas, every event at Qasra is framed by an ambiance of regal sophistication, merging ancient artistry with modern luxury to offer guests a truly immersive experience. Here, history and celebration unite in a setting of unmatched elegance.
